A very pretty set of six vintage Victorian or Edwardian English tea, luncheon or butter knives. These lovely old knives have a mother of pearl handle, silver collar (possibly Sterling) and blades of Sheffield stainless steel Each knife measures 6.4 inches in length (16cms) and made by George Hide & Son. The knives are in great condition for their age (over 100 years old). They show very few signs of use. The knives come with their original canteen, lined with velvet and satin. The box is in good used condition with only minor marks here and there commensurate with age. The perfect knife to cut and butter scones, cakes and treats. Wonderful additions to your afternoon tea table, bridal shower or wedding. The vintage teacup trio and plates shown in the photos are not included, but are available in separate listings.
