The sauté pan's large frying surface, high sloping sides and ovenproof lid, give a fantastic result regardless of whether you fry a piece of meat, or do a rich, slow cook in the oven.The sauté pan combines the best properties of cast iron with the practical properties of a non-stick coating. The pan can maintain high and even temperatures over the entire cooking surface while the patented non-stick surface provides fantastic cooking properties.The sauté pan has very sturdy stainless steel handles. You can get a good grip to lift the pot off the stove or take it out of the oven. You can use the sauté pan on all types of stoves, including induction. The sauté pan and lid are oven resistant and can withstand temperatures up to 250 °C.The Honeycomb-patterned cooking surface means that cooking oil and fat settle in the minimal depressions on the cooking surface. This means that you get an even temperature, with less use of frying fat and less risk of the food getting stuck or burning.Care instructionsWash and dry the sauté pan before first use, and oil the cooking surface with cooking oil. You can use metal tools in the pan, but do not cut raw food that is in the pan with a knife.Let the sauté pan cool down before washing it and dry it after it has been cleaned. Hand washing is recommended as strong dishwasher detergents can destroy the coating over time. If you wash it in a machine, organic detergent and low temperature are recommended. Keep in mind that dishwasher detergent can also affect the colour of the sauté pan.NOTE! Remember to never put an empty frying pan on maximum heat. It can damage the coating on the frying pan.
