This meter is designed to measure & display both moisture and temperature simultaneously. It can quickly measure 7 different materials including hardwoods, softwoods, cement mortars, lime mortars, and bricks and other building materials. It offers both Auto Range and Manual Material Selection. The insulated pins measure moisture content at varying depths -- you can tell whether the moisture content near the bottom of a board is higher than near the top.

A moisture meter is a sure way to help minimize moisture problems in lumber production, drying, and in all phases of furniture manufacturing and woodworking. In concrete, it assesses water damage and determines when subsequent coats of finish can be applied.
